Rays of Light

Dear Hearts,

The world is bringing us opportunities everyday to love and be grateful.  Even in the darkest hours and faced with life challenging decisions, there is a RAY of light. I like what Leonard Cohen sang,

"it's in the crack where the light gets in".

Well, I feel like my heart has been cracked opened in these past weeks. When my sweetie, Carl had to make the life-altering decision to have his two legs amputated at the knee, it was asking for complete surrender to the Mystery, a letting go of what it was in that moment.....to allow for something better to happen......for healing and for hope of a healthier future....and a belief this was what was best for the Higher Good.

I've learned at a deep level about HOPE.... about FAITH and most of all about LOVE. The power of love of self, another, family and community has been my experience. It was through the power of so many prayers, good thoughts, healing hands and medicine and the Grace of Divine,  that we came through this together. Although there is still much ahead in the ways of healing and adjusting for Carl, I can see those rays of Light after coming through a tunnel of darkness and pain.

A day doesn't go by when I don't feel tears on my face, love in my heart and deep gratitude for this life and for blessings of community.  Life is precious and a gift to be experienced.  I know it was not me, who made the big sacrifice,...it was Carl.....however being with him through this journey have brought me many teachings and blessings.  I too get to feel what it is like to be loved and be held in Grace and surrender to the Great Mystery.

My heart is grateful.
Thank you, thank you.
